1. Don’t make resolutions. Doh! I prefer “goals” anyway.
2. Eat more chicken. Specifically more wings!
3. Eat more beef. My grill ran out of gas early in the summer of 2009 and I never managed to get my lazy self down to get a full tank. That’s just a shame.
4. Eat more Slyders. My White Castle intake was lacking in 2009. My gut has recovered, so bring them on!
5. Make stuff up. I’ve got that covered.
6. Write more. Every year I say this and every year I don’t feel like I’ve written enough. I doubt I’ll ever be satisfied with that even if I wrote an entire library in a year.
7. Stick it to the man. OK, in a way I am the man, but I’m sticking it to the bigger men, how about that?
8. Get out there and do. I feel like I’ve been a bit out of touch on the pulse of life in general these past few years (even though I know that’s not totally the case).  There’s just been a lot on my mind and I just need to get to where I’m putting things in action…and that ball is already rolling.
9. Dream BIG dreams. Life is too short to settle for mediocrity.  While I don’t desire or aim to fail, if I’m going to fail, let me fail BIG. And if I’m successful it’ll be HUGE!
10. Don’t let the year slip away. I was on a roll at the start of 2009 but was totally blindsided in June when we found out that our in-utero son had a “universally fatal” birth defect…this on the heels of losing a son stillborn in 2008. Here’s to hoping 2010 will be a much better year!

While some may think he’s hiding from the public until this “blows over”, I honestly don’t see how you could try to fix your marriage while you’re away from home most of the week (which would be part of the problem anyway). Bottom line, if you’re married that should take priority over things such as work. And I’m sure that even by focusing on your marriage in his circumstances, that you’re in for a rough time which has no guaranteed outcome.

Yes, Tiger has majorly screwed up and has a hard road ahead. So leave the man alone and worry about your own demons. The games can wait for all of us.

Some conservative commentators seized on President Barack Obama’s deep bow to Japan’s Emperor Akihito over the weekend, accusing the U.S. commander in chief of groveling before a foreign leader.

OK, it should be quite apparent that I am not a fan of our sitting President. But the latest groveling “news” story I heard just seems silly to me, especially when there’s so much more that you could legitimately go after the man on.

But I have a solution to solve the Obamanator’s foreign follies. And it’s a simple one.

STOP THINKING THAT YOU ARE THE SAVIOR OF MANKIND!!!

Ditch all of the out of the country nonsense and keep yourself at home and figure out a solution to actually help the citizens without putting them any further into debt than you’ve already managed to do so.

Wait a  minute, I was thinking about someone who had both common sense and business sense. Let me rethink that…

On second thought, please spend ALL of your time outside of the country. And please take the “media” and your entire cabinet with you.  That way, maybe, just maybe, we the people can figure out a way to fix the economic woes you’ve created and continue to create. But that is a very tall order.

And the most ludicrious part:

The Recovery.gov Web site was established as part of the stimulus bill “to foster greater accountability and transparency” in the use of the money spent through the stimulus program. The site is a well-funded enterprise; the General Services Administration updated it earlier this year with an $18 million grant.

It does not take $18 MILLION dollars to create a website like that, no matter how you cut it. Creating websites and programs is my business, so I know that first hand what something like that should run on the high end! What a bunch of buffoons that continue to squander away OUR money while taking everything else away from us and asking us to fill up the coffers.
