If you’re wondering what the Blue Shotgun is and what to expect when you visit the site, this is the gist…

• The Blue Shotgun is setup in a standard blog format (RSS, comments, searching, etc).
• The Blue Shotgun is primarily a companion to The Musings of Brian Groce.
• The Blue Shotgun is a standalone sideblog/mini-blog/asides.  (Most sideblogs are one-way static posts.)
• The Blue Shotgun is made up of quick posts (no long or highly editorial type posts, as those can be found on Musings).

And here are the Blue Shotgun disclaimers…

• The Blue Shotgun is not a “normal” blog and is not intended as such.
• The Blue Shotgun is not a topical/focused blog.
• The Blue Shotgun is not a journal (though some posts may be “notes to self”).
• The Blue Shotgun is not after a specific “audience”.  If you enjoy it, great.  If not, that’s fine too.
• The Blue Shotgun’s main purpose is for me to share these “nuggets” with others (hopefully with some interaction) AND for me to have a repository which I can go back and search.
