I doubt the weatherman announced it today, but I’m calling the end of summer in Indianapolis a week early*. As of tomorrow the weather will begin the seasonal downtrend and before you can blink your eyes it’ll be snowing. (But probably just enough to cause problems and not enough have any fun in.)

Overall it was a nice summer weather wise.  Not too hot for the most part, though the plants seemed to have done horrible around here. I clearly didn’t grill out enough, but I’ve not really been in the mood to do so either.

So with fall around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about things like Halloween, hay rides & bon-fires. But I’m not really looking forward to it due to the high potential of the time being very tough mentally & emotionally this year (and at some point I’ll talk more at length about that over on my more serious blog, Never Picture Perfect).

* The official start of fall in 2009 for North America is September 22nd at 5:18pm EDT.
