Emma Clarke’s Spoof Announcements

On Monday I read an article on Reuters about Emma Clarke’s Spoof London Underground Announcements that led to her getting “sacked” by Transport for London (TfL). Due to the added traffic her site had been taken offline before I could listen to the clips, but this morning the site was back up and I was able to do so. (Check out her blog for a post about the server situation.)

These are pretty funny, even for someone not up on “British humor”. And the whole incident is further proof that British authority figures have no sense of humor.

BTW, there are a few of these you probably don’t want little ones repeating.
